New York: Charles Scribner's & Sons, 1936. Dust jacket shows heavy edge wear with tears. Jacket shows wear with marks, scuffs, soiling, and spots. Images and script are clear on front cover and spine. Flaps are intact with clear images and script. Cover boards show excellent yellow cloth board color and red script and images. Bumped corners; some staining or spots near edges and spine. Inside cover boards show soiling. Front inside board has a small past bookseller sticker on the lower edge. Author/Illustrator Paul Brown inscribes note to "May Squier, May you count many co-- Very Sincerely, Paul Brown '39". He also pencil draws an excellent image of Warpaint.
