1812 - 1912 signed Gustav Krupp von Bohlen Halbach 100 year anniversary of Krupp Stahl Essen Ruhr Germany. The book is dedicated to a friend (can't make out that name) and signed: Max von???? In old friendship Gustav Krupp von Bohlen Halbach Fall 1912 Gustav von Bohlen Halbach was born 1870 in The Hague, Netherlands. He married Bertha Krupp, daughter of Industrialist Alfried Krupp. He was then legally given the name Krupp. Gustav Krupp was charged with war crimes but did not get tried because of his age and bad health. His son however was accused and convicted for war crimes at Nürnberg in 1948, sentenced to 12 years in prison and released after 6 years. This book signed by the top man is extremely rare. The 108 year old book weighs about 7 lbs, measures 14 5/8" x 11 1/4" x 2 1/4" It also contains 2 maps/charts in the back cover - 29 3/4" x 13 5/8" Free shipping in lower 48 states.
