Fuesslin Casimiro
Glory To The Theater OCCULT Demon Religion Strange 1696 1st Ed Rare Old Odd
Sulzbach: Joannis Christophoris Lochner, 1696. A very rare and scarce first edition book. More pictures and details below. -This beautiful book contains 50 illustrations relating to theater and playwright including symbols of the occult with unfavored images. -The book was highly controversial at the time because of its magical imagery of sacrifice and violence which was taboo at the time it was written. Almost in a romanticized sense. The book was written and collected by Fuesslin Casimiro and published by Joannis Christophoris Lochner in Sulzbach, Germany. The book is in great condition for its age with a beautifully restored half leather binding. The book is in great condition and complete with some foxing and water damage on some of the pages and measures 8" inches in height by 6" inches in width. The language is in Latin. -More pictures added below. Features many beautiful images of religious symbolism, both breathtaking, horrific and odd. I cannot add all of the images due to aspect ratio and script errors but I added some that I thought were good examples. Ships from Nashville, TN. [Attributes: First Edition]
Bookseller: socialblossum-1 [Nashville, Tennessee, United States]
