This book contains all 16 of Wyeth's original prints, with none missing, removed, or loose. The pages are clean and free of any foxing. The book comes with its rare original glassine jacket and box. The box is in good condition, it has some rubbing, but is completely intact. This is a Limited edition, #65 of only 500 Copies signed by N.C. Wyeth, published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1931. Synopsis Chad is a confused young man growing up in 1860s Kentucky. Sheltered from his brutal guardian by a friendly schoolmaster, he learns to love the tiny village of Kingdom Come and has no inclination of leaving. But when the American Civil War breaks out, he finds himself at odds with most of his friends by joining the Union Army.
