Selvinsky Ilya (Karl) Lvovich (1899-1968) - writer, poet and playwright, representative of the literary trend of constructivism. In the 1920s he became one of the leaders of constructivism (the poems `Ulyalaevshchina` and` Notes of a Poet`). He writes a novel in verse `Pushtorg` and tries himself in drama. In 1933-1934. Selvinsky, as a special correspondent for Pravda, took part in the Arctic expedition of prof. O. Yu. Schmidt on the icebreaker `Chelyuskin`, later writing the poem` Chelyuskiniana`. In 1927, Selvinsky wrote a poetic story `Notes of a Poet`. The main character, poet Yevgeny Ney, is endowed with autobiographical features. The story ended with a collection of his poems Silk Moon, in which the aesthetic preferences of the constructivist Selvinsky were clearly felt. The cover for the book `Notes of a Poet` in the technique of photomontage was made by Lissitsky. Lissitzky Lazar Markovich (pseudonym El Lissitzky) (1890-1941) - painter, graphic artist, designer, author of architectural projects, teacher; one of the greatest masters of the Russian avant-garde. El Lissitzky is the founder of exhibition space design. Together with Kazimir Malevich, he developed Suprematism. In 1924, Lissitzky became interested in photo experiments.
