Hardcover. 1762-1774 Seven titles bound with overall titlepage (usually not present) confirming all sections collating to ESTC N23643. 4to. pp. [4], iv, 36 [ie, 38], [2], 55 [1]; [4], 46, 6; [4], 20 [4], 53, [1], 8; [2], 2, 16. Plates. Later rebound in late 18th century half red deep red morocco with marbled boards. A very good+ copy. Binding fine. Lightest wear to binding. Internally contents are complete chapters confirm with titlepage and copy in ESTC (although in slightly different order). Some foxing to titles and very occasionally within text. Thomas Snelling (1712-1773) was a coin dealer and bookseller carrying on business at 163 Fleet Street. Credited with putting together the first systematic catalogue of English Coinage.
