G P Putnam's Sons, 1923. D'ARTAGNAN BOOKS This is a signed first edition in good condition. It was published by G P Putnam's Sons in 1923. I can not tell whether the signature to the tissue-guard is printed, or actually signed. Charles Ranlett Flint was the founder of the Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company which later became IBM. For his financial dealings he earned the moniker 'Father of Trusts'. Sir Henry Norman, 1st Baronet PC JP was a journalist and Liberal politician. One of the positions he held was Assistant Postmaster General. In 1922 he bought Ramster Hall in Chiddingfold, Surrey. The book is subtitled - 'Men, and Ships, and Sealing Wax'. This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing. Condition: Book - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners, edges and covers, a lean and v.v.slight tearing to the spine. some marking, scratches, discolouration to the covers, opens easily to several pages (binding just showing through in a couple of places), some creasing to a couple of page corners, slight bumping to a few page corners, some marking to the page edges, some foxing to the page edges and many pages and soft even tanning to the pages.
