He published many political and religious pamphlets as well as his 'The Old and New Testament connected in the History of the Jews and Neighbouring Nations' which was one of the earliest English works to use the terminology 'Vulgar Era'. CONDITION In a full calf binding. Rebacked, with the original boards preserved. Externally, very smart, with just some minor shelfwear to the extremities. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with just the odd spot.
