This work was first issued in Leeds in 1741 and was so popular that a second edition was published in 1743. It was marketed in London and Yorkshire and is believed to be one of the earliest cookery books with provincial origins to hold popularity in the capital. An important cookery work, which gives insight into recipes for soups, cakes, pastes, pickles, creams, jellies, made wines and much more.
