2014. Oblong folio (280 x 430 mm). Executed in red and multi-coloured ink. Title to head of page: "Dream GRID / by Gusty." Signed and dated by composer at lower right corner: "Augusta Read Thomas (2014)." Explanation of sketch to left margin: "(Text for a vocal work - Text + Music by me)". Notated on the verso of a printed page of the full score of the composer's "Selene." Hand-drawn grid with 12 squares to each side, each filled either with a single word or yellow circle. "Paths" drawn along adjacent words with explanatory notes to the right margin in orange and blue: "For ex: one Path: Rocket to spirit winding sea silver rose" (in orange); "Another path: Music dreams - oh - song - Sun gold fall twilight serenade" (in blue). Explanatory note for yellow circles in black to lower right margin: "Left blank on Purpose for "wild card" words from which to make "New/Various" "Poems." In very good condition.
