1770 18c French Manuscript Calligraphy Handwritten 300+ pp Pre Revolutionary War
1770. Wonderful handwritten calligraphy throughout ! Measures about 7 3/8 x 9 1/4 inches . 297 numbered pages In addition to a table of contents in the front, and 10 pages written on in the rear . Front & rear paper covers are pretty stained and worn . The first few pages of the table of contents are also a bit soiled and worn as shown in one of the photos. The rest of the pages look very nice with minimal Soiling and wear. Stitching on the binding needs to be repaired a little so that the book is All together. Right now the book is pretty sound, but is separated at the center. Pages have normal patina from age over many years. There are a few minor Corner edge folds , but hardly worth mentioning. Interior looks very nice. Again wonderful handwritten calligraphy throughout. Please view my other auctions for more of these books.
