No added dates indicated. BINDING: 6 volumes, hardbound in three quarter leather and marbled boards with raised hubs and gild lettering and decorations on the spines. Page edges and end papers marbled. A total of 2,522 pages plus attached maps and charts at the rear of each volume. DUST JACKET: No jackets, as issued BOOK CONDITION: There is some scuffing and rubbing to extremities and boards but overall the set is very good. Hinges are intact and strong, bindings are tight and all volumes are clean. Minor even age toning and light spotted foxing but text in all volumes is very clear. DESCRIPTION: Illustrated. includes an account of the Burmese War and the battle of Navarino by Captain Chamier.
