BOBBY Visions Polynesiennes Polynesian Visions PACIFIC BRIDGE PUBLISHING PUPUNA PRODUCTIONS, TAHITI Copyright 1992 by Claire Leimbach This is a soft cover pictorial, in near fine condition, 177 pages includes CONTENTS, PREFACE, INTRODUCTION, a two page photo spread of Bobby and a LIST OF PLATES too numerous to count, measures approximately 19 a/4" x 13 ¼". The wraps of this elephant folio sized publication are smooth and glossy, both front and rear, printed on heavy stock. Only very slight edge wear is noted primarily at the points with a superficial bump noted to the wrap covering at the head of the spine; but no tears, soil, abrasions or impressions noted to the wrap surfaces. The book has been fitted with an Archival Quality clear Mylar dust jacket to protect from future wear. The interior reveals dark green end papers front and rear. The contents are tight and pristine. There are no previous owner names or notations and no evidence at the spine of the book have been opened out flat. This remarkable presentation was issued the year following Bobby Holcomb's tragic passing in 1991 from cancer. Although Bobby was born in Hawaii of mixed race parentage, he spent his final 15 years in French Polynesia residing on the island of Huahine.
