Original manuscript treatise in Latin on natural philosophy, with some illustrations, 18th century
1720. Manuscript treatise. Bound in contemporary vellum. Old missal pages re-used in the pastedowns. Most likely written in Italy, sometime in the 18th century (c1720-70). Text split into two parts, with the titles 'Physice Generalis...' and 'Physice Particularis...'. In Latin. 446 pages. Index at end of each section, and loose errata. Size: small folio - 21.5cm x 16cm. One full page illustration in the first part, and 10 pages with ink illustrations in the text in the second part (a couple highlighted with wash), and one table. Good condition. A couple of leaves excised in the first section with just stubs remaining. Text browning somewhat towards the centre of the volume, but all still legible.
