First Edition. 4to; pp. [6], 71; three color plates depicting six moveable models with overlaying flaps on stiff boards; additional text illustrations, many photographic, throughout; original olive pictorial cloth embossed in white, green, gilt, and brown. Endpapers foxed, spine ends a touch rubbed, else about fine. Plates include dissected views of a dirigible, the Wright brothers' airplane, and an "Aéroplane Voisin," a biplane that would be the first successful powered aircraft, designed in 1907 by the French aeronautical engineer and manufacturer Gabriel Voisin.
