Original full vellum bindings, with brown leather title strips on spine. Condition: Very Good Plus. A fabulous example of early 18th century vellum bindings containing all the most important families in England of noble heritage. Contains numerous pages of B&W copper plate engravings of the family coats of arms of many. Previously owned by Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, previous owner of Hoddam Castle (Now spelled Hoddom), portions of which are still standing in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. An important work in very nice overall condition for its age. Page ends red speckled. All volumes sound, tight and text unmarked. Some faint writing on the upper spine of volume one.
