London: George Routledge & Co, 1853. 1.) KELLIEGRAM BINDING: THE LIFE AND ADVENTURES OF ROBINSON CRUSOE Written by Daniel Defoe. Published by George Routledge & Co., London 1853, illustrated by Grandville, 599 pages. Light wear of leather, previous owner's bookplate from 1913, also closed tear has been repaired with archival tape. 2.) AN EARLY GENUINE RIVIÈRE BINDING, WITH 'BOUND BY RIVIERE' STAMP ON ENDPAPER This is a book written in Latin "JUVENALIS ET PERSIUS" dated 1845. The binding shows wear on covers and spine and light pencil marks on front endpaper. This is a rare, authentic early binding by Robert Riviere, before his bindery became Riviere & Son or Bayntun-Riviere. If you need more photos, please don't hesitate to request. 3.) TAFFIN BINDING: ANNALS OF THE ROAD, OR NOTES ON MAIL AND STAGE COACHING IN GREAT BRITAIN BY CAPTAIN MALET Published in London: Longmans, Green & co., 1876. 8vo. Bound in a full morocco leather binding with raised bands. Picture of a coach on front cover and horn and whip on the back. Illustrated with additional plates and etching by Thomas Rowlandson. Tear on flyleaf, otherwise very good condition.
