Pamphlet in printed wrappers bound into later library cloth, calf lettering piece and paper location label to spine. Light soiling, chipping to lettering piece, light soiling to wrapper, light toning to text, library stamp and markings to verso of title page. ,000. * Only edition located. Colorado was one of the states established in land ceded by Mexico in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which concluded the Mexican-American War in 1848. This Spanish edition of the constitution adopted when Colorado became a state indicates the survival of that language among its residents some 30 years later. OCLC locates 7 copies, 2 in law libraries (Harvard, University of Washington). Not in Babbitt.
