Language: German Order number: 213756 Remarks: * In 1845 the Württemberg Chamber of Deputies dealt so much with the new or planned railroad lines that they published their own extensive supplementary booklet in the printed negotiation protocols, in which all lectures, reports etc. to the railroad in 1845. - Contains cost statements, expert reports, commission reports etc. on state and private railways in the Kingdom of Württemberg as well as on individual lines such as Ludwigsburg-Esslingen (extensive), southern line from Ulm to Friedrichshafen, eastern line through Fils and Remstal, Stuttgart-Aalen and others. A comprehensive report by the English engineer Vignoles (p 97-338) on the layout and construction of the Württembergische Eisenbahnen (held as a lecture in the Chamber of Deputies in March 1844). - Excellent source work on the early history of Württemberg railway construction, which reveals numerous details. At the same time, it is extremely rare because these negotiation minutes were only printed in small editions for members of parliament and a few libraries. - The page count jumps from page 790 to 891 due to a mistake made by the typesetter.
