Letter from General Philip St. George Cooke to General Theo. F. Rodenbaugh, 1873 Philip St Cooke. Manuscript letter dated to May 12th, 1873 from General Philip St. George Cooke to General Theo. F. Rodenbaugh. Letter has 4pp of script. It is framed on one leaf of paper with top edge gilt, which looks to have been cut from a book. With script on both sides of the letter, the paper frame is like a window, so that both sides are visible. Letter in frame measures 7" x 9 -3/4". Letter is in very good condition with moderate bleeding from an opposite page on first leaf, last leaf has light soiling and shows evidence of where letter was once folded. Manuscript is somewhat difficult to read but only because of the author's handwriting, not condition of the letter.
