Bemetzrieder (1739-1817) was a French composer, theorist, and music teacher, and was famously hired by Denis Diderot in 1769 to teach the harpsichord to his daughter. He moved to London in 1781 and died there in January 1817. Not in Gregory. ESTC locates only 3 copies: BL, Cambridge, and NY Public.
