Sometimes attributed to Nathaniel Crouch (who employed the pseudonyms R.B., Robert Burton, and Richard Burton) and to John Phillips. A strongly critical anti-Catholic history of the two reigns. With an advertisement printed on the verso of the title page – not present in this edition. Place of publication conjectured by Wing. The last leaf is blank. Later published, in a very much altered version, as part 2 of "The secret history, of the four last monarchs of Great-Britain" (Wing C7346). There are at least two other partial re-impressions of this title published in the same year. One has pagination: [4], 96, 87-134, 145-214, [2] p. The other has pagination: [4], 96, 87-182, 193-214 p. This edition is numbered continuously 1 to 214. Condition Report Externally Spine – very good condition – new spine to old boards.
