Profusely illustrated with black and white drawings and vignettes, every page with a line drawing, additionally, thirteen full color lithographs under captioned tissues, tipped to olive green mounts, recent white buckram gilt, with a design after Arthur Rackham to the front board, titled spine, TEG, deckled. A lovely, exceptionally bright copy with only a few occasional spots within, this book is unusually bright and clean, without fingermarks or any evidence of handling, with excellent plates. A rarity in this condition as this title was often given to young children as a gift and hence is quite scarce to find as a bright, unblemished copy.
