Early printing of the first edition (not the first printing, though) with no date code or statement of printing on copyright page. Signed by Eric Hoffer and inscribed to WWII historian and author Arnold Krammer on half-title; Krammer's bookplate is on paste down. About Very Good with a little residual coating to cloth from jacket being glued down, since successfully removed; a few light stains to verso of jacket, price-clipped, two small tears, rubbing. A rare signed copy of the longshoreman-turned-author's best-known work, a classic of social psychology, as well as a nice association between two chroniclers of the totalitarian mindset.
