Original cloth stamped in blind and gilt, exhibiting edgewear and soiling, corners bumped, endcaps worn and frayed; contemporary ownership inscription to upper pastedown, f.f.e., "George Briggs Book"; juvenile penciling to upper endpapers and couple random pages; mid-20th-century GOODWILL INDUSTRIES price label to lower pastedown; hinges tender; short closed tears, creasing at gutters of several leaves; light scattered spotting, else textblock clear and unmarked.
