Design For To-Day Magazine - 1st 11 issues May 1933 to Mar 1934 - Rare Art Deco
UK: Design And Industries Association. Design For To-Day Magazine - 1st 11 issues May 1933 to Mar 1934 These are very rare copies of this design magazine from the 1930s, published by the Design and Industries Association (The D.I.A). Each magazine has typically around 40 pages covering design as it applies to architecture (domestic and civic), internal decoration, household items and much more besides. Authors range over the spectrum of respected designers of the era. Articles are authoritative and often cited. Predominantly black and white there are a few colour photo's. Condition is generally very good for their age. First magazine (May 1933) had some printing issues on a couple of pages (see last photo). The covers have separated a bit from the bindings on a couple of the magazines. No pages missing, no underlining, no cut outs. Each has the pencil mark of the newsagent on their cover. Please note I will not be splitting these so thanks for not asking. Please see pictures for details of condition. If you have any questions please ask. From a smoke and pet free home. I am currently only offering this directly to UK buyers. Any non UK interested parties should contact me to discuss options. Thanks for looking :-). [Attributes: First Edition]
