Condition: as to be expected from a book of this age (see pictures). 42 moveable schemes for forming the various kinds of solids, and their sections, by which the doctrine of solids in the eleventh, twelfth and fifteenth books of Euclid is illustrated and endered more esay to learners than heretofore. John Cowley was Professor of Mathematics at the Royal Academy at Woolwich. Moveable schemes remarkably present and no pieces missing. Original binding in part but some has been re-stitched and in the process some of the plates are upside down.
