It contains 53 folk tales of Im Bang and Yi Ryuk with the front matter having a Preface and a brief biography of both these ancient story tellers - see pics. The book is bound in a pale blue cloth with red rule lines and Dragon design on the front cover, plain back cover, gilded titles on the spine with a gilded device beneath it and with a gilded top edge. It measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" with 233 pages followed by one leaf of ads, no illustrations. Truly a rare item, I've noticed only 3 on as of this listing, one for $2,800, one for $3,000 and one for $8,000. So here is a good opportunity to add this investment level rarity at a more reasonable price to your collection, store or library.
