Heavy abrasion. Hinges mostly attached but cracked and starting, with several covers entirely detached. This is ex library the Royal College Of Surgeons, Ireland. A rare work. The most recent auction record for a single plate is $4750 + 15% = $5462.50, they're scarce and they don't come up for auction, which increases the value of this work by association.)
