Imprint verso title-page and final textual leaf: 'Printed in Great Britain. Chiswick Press: Charles Whittingham & Griggs (printers), Ltd., Tooks Court, Chancery Lane, London'. Condition; VERY GOOD. The binding is firm and square. All edges and corners remain firm and straight. The buckram is in very good condition, noting slight dust toning to the spine and rear cover. Internally, there are no bookplates or inscriptions, and the textblock remains remarkably fresh and clean. Without a dust jacket. Note: This is the earliest edition of this title in English, published 'March 1929'; precedes the US edition by three months. The German edition was published in January of 1929, and was translated into English by A. W. Wheen. The supreme WW1 novel in excellent state.
