Ex-Theological library with evidence of library stickers on the bindings of each volume, library plate affixed to front fep of each volume and identification stamps to the reverse of each title page. Vol. 1: Front & rear boards detached but present, front fep detached but present. Text block is tight with no loose or missing pages apparent. Pages are clear of markings/notes with areas of foxing scattered throughout, text however remains clear and legible. Vol 2: Both boards attached but front board is loose and held only by cords. Leather backstrip is split down the full length corresponding with a split in the text block between pages 256/257, both sections of the text block however remain attached to their respective binding and to each other by the cords.
