The "Souper" dress is a silk screen printed paper dress (80% Cellulose, 20 % Cotton) sold by Campbell's Soup in the 1960's. It features Andy Warhol's iconic design printed in color on both sides of the dress. The tag on the collar of the dress (often missing) is present. The rear shoulder on the dress has been repaired on the inside with a piece of tape (shown above). The dress has some wear and creasing (the creasing is normal as it was mailed folded).It measures 95 x 54 cm.‚Äč A rare find in any condition. ---------- About the Artist ---------- Andy Warhol (1928 - 1987) was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.
