The interview was published in Parallel Magazine. The letters describe arrangements for travel as well as feelings about the interview and travel from both Henry and Muriel Roth. The letters were created during a long period of isolation and obscurity for the author of Call it Sleep (1934) who overcame depression and disappointment, to publish again in 1979, followed by a 4 volume epic Mercy of Rude Stream 1994-98.
