IAN FLEMING - MOONRAKER, published by MacMillan, copyright 1955, First Printing (states "First Printing" on copyright page with no references to subsequent printings - there was never a 2nd printing in this format), lists to "Live and Let Die" on list of Fleming books to left of title page, white endpapers with light green cloth boards and black lettering to spine and front board, $2.75 price on DJ front flap. VERY RARE BOOK - HARDER TO FIND THAN THE 1ST PRINTINGS OF BOTH LIVE AND LET DIE & CASINO ROYALE - EASILY THE RAREST OF ALL U.S. IAN FLEMING 1ST PRINTINGS. Book has flat pages with no top right creased page corners from prior reading, very slight dust soiling/age darkening to page edges (just a hint of foxing to top outer page edge only), no foxing to pages or endpapers, original endpapers are clean and free from erasures/soiling (ever so faint age darkening reaction lines caused by DJ flaps), no former owner's markings or used bookseller stamps/stickers inside, no wear to board edges, corners or spine tips, no bumped board corners, NO scotch tape marks or 'black' edging mark (caused by those old style DJ protectors - common defect found with this book) to boards, no discoloration/soiling to boards, no wear to spine or front board lettering. Dust jacket has small closed tear at bottom right on rear panel with related crease otheriwse no tearing, chipping or creasing, hint of wear to spine tips, no wear to front flap crease, almost no edge wear, no spine fading to spine lettering (either the green title or red publisher's name), barest hint of dust … [Klicken Sie unten für eine ausführliche Beschreibung]
