The complete 14-volume series spans the years, 1820 through 1836, and the 11 volumes offered here do not include the CALENDAR for the years 1820, 1830, and 1835. Force did not publish any volumes for 1825, 1826, and 1826. These rare books are in varying degrees of wear and individually are described below. If you want to view the Table of Contents for any particular volume, please let me know via eBay's communication system. EBay allows for five photographs to be attached per e-mail and the length of some of the Tables of Contents will require me to send photographs via two e-mails. Some books are missing a page or so and I will supply whatever is missing via xerox copies from the volumes in my own library. The following 11 volumes are offered for sale here: (1) Boardless THE NATIONAL CALENDAR, FOR MDCCCXXI, by Peter Force (published 1821 in Washington City, by Davis and Force, "Printers, Booksellers, and Stationers"; 268 pages). The book is in poor to fair condition and the book is being sold as a "working copy" that the purchaser might wish to rebind. Almost all of the leather that once covered the spine is gone and both boards are missing, as are the front and rear blank flyleaves. The frontispiece engraving of the "West Front of the Capitol" is present, but detached, soiled, and torn around the edges.
