D. Browne et al, 1719. Condition: Good. Complete two volume set. John Kettlewell was a famous 17th century English clergyman and nonjurist. This volume contains his works as well as a biographical section. Volume 1 contains woodcut portrait as frontispiece. Volume I is about 800 pp, volume II about 750 pp. Volume II concludes with an appendix. Covers show wear, particularly around hinges and edges. Volume II has significant chippage at bottom right corner of front cover. The first end-page of volume I is detached. Both copies have a few notes in pencil and ink near front end-pages. Date in Arabic numerals is written in pencil beneath date in Roman numerals on title pages. There is no annotation in these copies, however there is some foxing throughout.
