Torn at the folds with some soiling and staining. ECS writes to Reverend E.P. Powell. "26 West 61st New York March 17 [n.d.] My dear Mr. Powell, I sent you by to days mail a package of leaflets to distribute as fast as you can as this is the hour they must do their work. I have quoted some great things from you. We liberals should make a desperate effort to get the Exposition open on Sunday. Thanks for this package you sent me your tracts are admirable. I hope you are seeing them broad cast. This Sunday tyranny should be diligently resisted. [signed] Elizabeth Cady Stanton.".
