Scott, Webster, and Geary. 1837. 408 pages. No dust jacket. Brown blind stamped cloth with gilt lettering. Gilt edged text block. Spine is detached along the front joint, exposing binding underneath. Ink inscription to front endpaper dated 1839. Faint pencil inscription to front pastedown. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with some foxing. Heavy crack to front hinge, board only held by thread causing a loose binding. Boards have been moderately rub worn, with some noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed and spine ends are crushed, with some small splits and chips. Light tanning to spine and edges. Boards are moderately bowed. Book has a slight forward lean.
