Kay Thompson
Kay Thompson - Eloise in Paris - SIGNED 1st 1st - First STATED - 1957 HCDJ - NR
New York: 1957. Thompson, Kay (Illustrated by Hilary Knight) - Eloise in Paris - Simon & Schuster: New York, 1957 - First Edition / First Printing - "First Printing" stated on the copyright page as required in order to denote the first printing of the first edition. "Like increasingly thousands of other people, I am devoted to Eloise" - J.P. Marquand The book has a pair of lightly nudged tips but is otherwise a clean, very bright and tight example. The dust jacket has some soiling, edge wear, a tear to lower rear and scattered foxing but is still handsome. This copy has had Kay Thompson's signature tipped onto the page opposite of the title page. This tip in is from an autograph album and the previous owner included a certificate of authenticity from a dealer who is a member of the UACC, the ANA, and The Manuscript Society. An attractive example of the the second Eloise book with the author's scarce and desirable signature. All books are offered with a full 30 day postage paid return policy. All books which are in dust jackets will be mailed with a clear archival dust jacket protector fitted. Shipping costs can be combined if multiple purchases are made. Items will be packaged and shipped within one business day unless otherwise noted. Please always feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; In Dust Jacket]
