GOLDFINGER Ian Fleming 1st US Edition 1959 HC/DJ MacMillan HIGH GRADE
MacMillan, New York City, 1959. 8vo., 318. Beautiful First American Edition of the seventh James Bond novel and one of the less common titles to find in high-grade condition. Square tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Very attractive dust-jacket is uncommonly unclipped on both top and bottom of the front flap. $2.95 is on the top flap which was typically clipped leaving the $3.00 on the bottom flap. There is a short vertical line through the "2" of the top flap, a price stamp toward the bottom flap and a handwritten price below that, (see photos). A bit of soiling/rubbing lines on the rear panel and the spine is ever-so-lightly toned. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. A very well-preserved example. A gorgeous collectable copy at a very good price. Please excuse any glare or reflections in the pictures. Books I know; photography not so much. 30 Plus years buying and selling collectable books. Member ABAA, ILAB, IOBA. Please check out my stock of Modern First Editions, Sci-Fi & Mystery, Vintage Paperbacks, Biographies, and many more genres, many signed.
