Hardcovers bound in original full leather with cover designs ruled in gilt and in blind. The bindings show some rubbing and wear, and although the hinges are a little rubbed, the hinges are still sound. Spines a bit darkened with some surface cracking to the leather. Old paper labels at the foot of the spines. Marbled endpapers. The text blocks are sound, and the text is foxed. Illustrated with copper or steel plate frontis pieces and small woodcuts in the text. The woodcuts usually are grouped in three images per page.
