Beautifully rebound in leather bindings with gold hand tooled designs. Looks amazing on the shelf! Each volume is 9 inches tall, about 5.5 inches wide. Condition: Very good +. Boards and hinges are sturdy with no cracking or tears. The new binding makes this an easy to read set without having to worry about deteriorating the condition. Some light general shelf wear. Some moderate foxing. Old water/tea staining in about the first 25 pages of volume 2, and throughout volume one, with most concentrated in first 45 pages. Staining to page blocks as well as seen in photo. Pages are still very readable. A splendid set, and a perfect gift!
