William Goldman
PRINCESS BRIDE true First Edition William Goldman's classic tale Scarce!
New York: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc, 1973. Condition: Very Good. The book itself shows two tiny tiny dots of soiling to upper page edges, a very short, very light previous owner's name to front free endpaper, and a tiny, virtually imperceptible area of dampstain to upper right corner of front cover; otherwise the book is bright, tight, clean, a lovely example. The dust jacket is not quite so nice; the front flap is price-clipped and shows some vertical creasing; the inside of the dust jacket shows a small area of dampstaining corresponding to the right front corner of the book; there is a short edge tear to the upper rear panel (which seems to show a faint tape shadow--no tape is now present, however), and a small chip to the upper edge of the spine panel. Nonetheless a really very nice example of this highly sought after and very scarce book. True first edition (stated First Edition with the BCDE line beneath on copyright page) of Goldman's cult favorite which was adapted by director Rob Reiner into a cult favorite film. Remarkably scarce, here in a quite nice example. [Attributes: First Edition]
