הגדה סדר של פסח עם הפירוש הנחמד אברבנאל
Bi-Fiyorda: Itsiḳ Daṿid Tsirn dorf, 1777. I am limited to 12 photos on eBay, but I have many more photos on my website...just ask. A rare Hebrew printing of the Haggadah published in Furth, Germany. This Haggadah was edited with commentary by Isaac Abarbanel and Isaak ben David Zirndorf. Note the impressive woodcut engravings throughout Isaac ben Judah Abarbanel (Hebrew: יצחק בן יהודה אברבנאל;‎ 1437-1508), commonly referred to as Abarbanel (אַבַּרבְּנְאֵל), was a Portuguese Jewish statesman, philosopher, Bible commentator, and financier. Abarbanel wrote many works during his lifetime which are often categorized into three groups: exegesis, philosophy, and apologetics. Notably, in order to make his commentaries more accessible to the average reader, Abarbanel would take the time to include an introduction concerning the character of each book he was commenting on, as well as its date of composition, and the intention of the original author.
