Quarto (11.25 x 8 inches), bound in later 19th century half leather and marbled boards, and early 20th century calf spine and deep red spine label, lacks engraved pictorial title page and leaves 6-8 (3 leaves of dedicatory verses after the epistle dedication) otherwise complete: (22), 394 (2) 101 (10) pp. Numerous woodcuts, some full page, includes folding table at p. 62, folding plate at p. 84. Good copy, contents mainly very good, some worming to top margin, dampstaining evident to pp. 381-first pages of the second book, last pages of the table at rear have been repaired a long long time ago with old patches and re-margining. Binding good plus, some wear to leather corners. Complete but for the lack of dedicatory verses and engraved title page. [Attributes: First Edition]
