Printed for Nicholas Bourne, 1652. Full Leather. First Collected Edition. First Collected Edition of Drake's voyages around the world, with the portrait frontispiece of Drake supplied in facsimile. The four narratives, with separate pagination and title pages, are comprised of Sir Francis Drake Revived (the voyage of 1572-73); The World Encompassed (the voyage of 1577-80); A Summarie and True Discourse of [his] West Indian Voyage (1585-86: and A Full Relation of Another Voyage into the West Indies (the voyage of 1594-96 during which Drake died and was buried at sea). All but the first part were printed in 1652 and have separate title pages. The Drake Revived was printed in 1653, under the editorship of R. D., and the title was extended so as to include the other three [Church 526]~~Full speckled calf, with a later sympathetic spine lettered in gilt; joints a bit worn.
