True first printing, with (1) printed on p365 and 'Forasmuch as it hath please Almighty God' on p186. Old fold to tip of half title and title page. Light foxing to half title and title page, a few occasional patches of foxing within text (mostly to margins.) A very attractive first edition of Wharton's Pulitzer Prize winning classic, in a binding of the highest order.
