Large quarto, polished calf with the bottom 4 inches of the front hinge beginning to split, and encased in a very nice clam-shell with morocco spine. Quite good overall. (10), 320pp [COMPLETE] JB (1692-1752), an English bishop, is known for this primary work in the controversy against Deism. It is his apologetic work in defense of Christianity and philosophy of religion, and was very influential through the nineteenth century. 10 1/2" x 7 1/2". [Attributes: First Edition]
