Title: The Outer Limits Episode Title: "The Guests" Episode Working Title: "An Ordinary Town" Script Dated: January 3, 1964 Written by: Charles Beaumont Description: This is an Original TV Script used during the making of the 1963-1965 TV Series titled, "The Outer Limits". It is from the Episode titled, "The Guests". This script has the original yellow production cover with the Working Title on it. This is a very rare draft written by Charles Beaumont that is titled, "An Ordinary Town". The episode was later written by a different writer and only parts of this script made it into the final episode titled, "The Guests". This script is complete and it is 58 pages long. It has all white pages throughout it inside. This script was used by the associate producer, Louis Morheim. The front cover is stamped #46. The last several pages of this script and also the back cover have some discoloration along the bottom edges from being in storage for over 50 years. Please view all of the pictures above carefully. The script is in good overall condition. It shows the appropriate signs of aging for being used during the 1960's. Episode Information: Charles Beaumont, who had written many memorable episodes of The Twilight Zone, sold Joseph Stefano a script titled "An Ordinary Town" (dated Jan 3 1964), which was quite similar to a Twilight Zone episode he had written the previous year titled "Valley of the Shadow", in which a newspaper man, Philip Redfield, is trapped in an isolated rural town that keeps the benefits of a wondrous technology (possibly brought by aliens) to itself.
