Words of Reassurance After the Great Fire That Struck Hamburg from the 5th to the 8th of May. Delivered at The New Israelite Temple on May 14, 1842." By German Rabbi and Kabbalist Naphtali Frankfurter (1810-1866) . The heavy demand on insurance companies led to the establishment of reinsurance. It operated in Hamburg (Germany) from 1818 to 1938 (Wikipedia, 2019) . SUBJECTS: Jewish occasional sermons -- Germany. Praise of God.
